Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large baking dish with butter or nonstick cooking spray.
- Place the halved croissants cut-side up in the baking dish as if making a cozy bed for the chocolate.
- Sprinkle dark chocolate chips generously over each croissant half.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants and allow to soak for about 10 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar if desired, then serve warm.
