Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in the diced apples.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets and roll each ball in cinnamon sugar before placing them on the sheet.
