Instructions

  2. Sauté the chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until soft (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, sautéed onions, parsley, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, ketchup, and brown sugar; reserve half for later glaze.
  5. Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape on a lined baking sheet. Brush the top with half of the balsamic glaze.
  6. Bake for approximately 60 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
