  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Trim and finely chop the Brussels sprouts.
  2. Sauté minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant.
  3. In a bowl, combine ground meat, chopped Brussels sprouts, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, sautéed garlic, egg, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Sear the meatballs in olive oil over medium-high heat until browned on all sides (about 5 minutes).
  6. Transfer meatballs to simmering tomato sauce and cook together for 15-20 minutes.
