- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 32 oz frozen tater tots
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 1/2 cup dill pickles (chopped)
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced onion in melted butter until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add ground beef, cooking until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in ketchup, mustard, and chopped pickles until well combined.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with beaten eggs and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and layer with frozen tater tots on top.
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
