Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease well.
- In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until combined.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until slightly larger.
- Cut the pastry into 1-inch wide strips and twist each strip into cruffin shapes in the muffin tin.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips inside each cruffin before baking.
- Brush each cruffin with beaten egg and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown; cool slightly before serving.
