- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups Nacho Cheese Doritos (crushed)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a skillet for frying.
- Cut the chicken breasts into strips about one inch wide.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; one with beaten eggs; and one with crushed Doritos.
- Dip each chicken strip first in the flour mixture, then in the egg wash, and finally coat with crushed Doritos.
- For baking: Place on a lined baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. For frying: Cook each side for 3-4 minutes until crispy and cooked through.
- Let cool slightly before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
