- 30 oz frozen hashbrowns
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup whole milk (or low-fat)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a large baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with frozen hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, milk, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
