- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp pure honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by chopping broccoli into bite-sized florets and mincing garlic.
- In a large pan over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in minced garlic and broccoli florets; cook for about 3-5 minutes or until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch mixture until smooth. Pour over the beef and broccoli in the pan.
- Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle chopped green onions on top, and serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
