Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Shred kunafa noodles into smaller pieces.
- Mix melted butter with shredded kunafa until well-coated.
- Spread half of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- In another saucepan, whisk together milk, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract over medium heat until thickened (about 5-6 minutes).
- Stir in orange blossom water and let the filling cool completely.
- Fill baked kunafa shells with the cream filling using a piping bag or spoon.
- Top with chopped pistachios and an optional drizzle of orange blossom syrup.
