  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Shred kunafa noodles into smaller pieces.
  3. Mix melted butter with shredded kunafa until well-coated.
  4. Spread half of the mixture onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. In another saucepan, whisk together milk, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract over medium heat until thickened (about 5-6 minutes).
  6. Stir in orange blossom water and let the filling cool completely.
  7. Fill baked kunafa shells with the cream filling using a piping bag or spoon.
  8. Top with chopped pistachios and an optional drizzle of orange blossom syrup.
