Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and baking soda.
- In another bowl, cream together the vegan butter and applesauce until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped apples and nuts if using.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown around the edges. Allow to cool before enjoying.
