- 1 lb sirloin or flank steak
- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.
- Boil egg noodles according to package directions until al dente; drain and toss with oil.
- In a hot skillet, add vegetable oil and sear the steak for 3–4 minutes until browned.
- Lower heat, then add butter and minced garlic; stir until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add cooked noodles, soy sauce, and black pepper; toss to combine.
- Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
