  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 strips bacon
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 1 cup fresh lettuce, chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 8 slices pickles
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp ketchup

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: chop lettuce and slice tomatoes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  3. Shape ground beef into four 1-inch thick patties and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat; cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until browned.
  5. Add cheddar slices on top of patties to melt during the last minute of cooking.
  6. Toast brioche buns until golden brown.
  7. Assemble burgers: layer lettuce on the bottom bun, add the cheesy patty, crispy bacon, tomato slices, pickles, mustard, and ketchup.
